This radio was specifically designed for Fire Departments and First Responders. It can be operated as a pager and a full powered hand held radio. The Quantun Professional is made for the most demanding applications.
Features
The Quantun Professional has 16 channels and is PC programmable to accommodate advanced MDC 1200 signaling, PTT ID, an emergency button, CTCSS/DCS, 2 Tone Encode and Decode and DTMF Encode. These radios have 5 watts of output power in the VHF version and 4 watts of output power in the UHF version. It features an aluminum chassis for durability and IP65 water resistance, up to 60 seconds of voice recording for playback of broadcasts and pages, status annunciation, emergency alarm, VOX, optional GPS and man down.
Battery, Charger and Belt Clip
The 2000 mAh Lithium Ion battery provides a 16 hour duty cycle between charging (5% talk 5% listen 90% standby). The Quantun Professional uses a rapid rate desktop charger and comes with a sturdy belt clip.
Accessories
The Quantun Professional radios can be equipped with stubby antennas, ear buds, bone induction earpieces, surveillance ear pieces, high noise headsets and water proof speaker mics. This radio uses the same audio accessories as two pin Motorola radios.
